Product Review: Etude House AC Clinic Pink Powder Spot Extreme

ETUDE HOUSE AC CLINIC PINK POWDER SPOT EXTREME

Hi Guys! Let me share my new discovery, this is one of the product from Etude's AC CLINIC line, which is the Pink Powder Spot. I don't know why it is called like that maybe because pimples are color pink? What do you think? Anyway, We decided to purchase this kit first of all because for emergency reasons. You know, pimples come during unexpected times (especially if you have an important event), and it's hard to face with people knowing that you have a pinkish bump in your face and you can also notice that they are not looking at you but they are looking at your pimple.. ~~~ I know most of you can relate. But here is one solution to help us to become pimple-free!

Personally, I get pimples whenever I do have a period. My face is much oilier and it's very much uneasy. On the other hand, I am also using this for BF. He is always breaking out whenever he lacks sleep and having a hard time at work. He is very cooperative when I'm applying this solution to him~~~ *laughs.

It says here that the Pink Powder Spot soothes, heals and brightens blemishes with a more powerful and advanced formula. Also it is Non-Comedogenic & Dermatologist Tested. Non-Comedogenic means it will not produce nor aggravate acne. It also says here that the AC Clinic line is formulated without acne inducing ingredients to promote clear skin.

So let's see if it is effective....

This product is formulated with Sulfur Powder(antibiotic), Salicylic Acid and Hinoki Cypress extract.

You can see here that the powder is in the bottom.

It is written here that this is the STEP 5 of the AC CLINIC LINE routine.

APPLICATION SEQUENCE: Foam Cleanser > Toner > Gel Lotion > Red Spot Balm +whitening > Pink Powder Spot +Extreme > Pink Daily Spot > Calming Mist

This is the kit wherein a red spot balm is also included.
Cotton swabs are also included in the kit.

The EFFECT?

To me it's very effective. It dries out my pimple overnight. Although there is still a bump but not that noticeable and it will be gone for a day. But for BF, the effect is not the same as mine. His pimples do not easily dries overnight. It really depends on the kind of pimple that you have. Maybe it will dry out soon as long as you keep using the product and you'll have enough sleep.

By the way, the smell is like a medicine :o But it's tolerable as long as you don't overuse it.

HOW TO USE?

1. After facial cleansing (also after your beauty ceremony>toner>emulsion>serum) allow powder to settle at the bottom.
2. Perpendicularly dip cotton swap into bottle to draw powder.
3. Dab trouble spots and acne with swab tip to coat with powder.

TIP: Don't shake the bottle.
Dont prick the pimple. Just gently poke so the powder will be absorbed on the pimple.

Use this once or twice a week at night before going to sleep.

  1. This looks interesting. I think it has the same function as The Body Shop's tea tree oil. :)
